The 9th International Conference on Education Innovation (ICEI) 2026

The 9th International Conference on Education Innovation (ICEI) 2026, themed “Transformative Education Innovation in the Era of Artificial Intelligence: Advancing Inclusive, Sustainable, and Future-Ready Learning Ecosystems for Global Development Goals,” is an international academic forum that brings together researchers, academics, educators, practitioners, policymakers, and graduate students to exchange research findings, innovative ideas, and best practices in educational innovation.

ICEI 2026 aims to strengthen international academic collaboration and promote educational transformation in response to the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and global educational challenges. The conference provides a platform for presenting high-quality research that contributes to transformative learning, curriculum innovation, inclusive education, educational technology, student well-being, lifelong learning, educational psychology, vocational education, and future-ready learning ecosystems aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Accepted and presented papers will be eligible for publication in several publication outlets provided by ICEI 2026. Authors may choose publication in SINTA 2, SINTA 3, or SINTA 4 accredited journals, International Proceedings with ISBN, or receive a recommendation for submission to Scopus-indexed partner journals. All manuscripts will undergo the appropriate editorial and peer-review process according to the selected publication outlet. Final publication decisions remain subject to editorial policies, reviewers’ recommendations, publication ethics, and the requirements of each journal or proceedings publisher.

Peer Review Process

The peer-review process begins with manuscript submission through the official ICEI 2026 Online Submission System.

Each submitted manuscript will first undergo an initial editorial screening to evaluate:

  • relevance to the conference theme and scope;

  • compliance with the manuscript template and formatting requirements;

  • English language quality;

  • similarity index and originality;

  • adherence to publication ethics; and

  • suitability for the selected publication outlet.

Manuscripts that successfully pass the initial screening will proceed to a double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

Reviewers will evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

  • originality and novelty;

  • significance of the research contribution;

  • methodological rigor;

  • clarity of presentation and academic writing;

  • relevance to educational innovation;

  • practical implications for education;

  • contribution to inclusive, sustainable, and future-ready education;

  • alignment with the conference theme and scope.

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, manuscripts may receive one of the following editorial decisions:

  • Accepted

  • Accepted with Minor Revisions

  • Accepted with Major Revisions

  • Rejected

Authors receiving revision requests must submit a revised manuscript within the specified deadline. Revised manuscripts may undergo further evaluation before a final publication decision is made.

Only manuscripts that are accepted, presented during ICEI 2026, and fulfill all publication requirements will be processed for publication in the selected journal or proceedings.

The ICEI 2026 peer-review process follows internationally recognized standards of academic quality, transparency, fairness, confidentiality, and research integrity.

Articles

All submitted manuscripts must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Present original and unpublished research.

  • Be relevant to the scope and theme of ICEI 2026.

  • Be written in clear and academically appropriate English.

  • Contain a well-defined research problem, objectives, methodology, findings, discussion, and conclusion.

  • Demonstrate scientific rigor and educational significance.

  • Contribute to educational innovation and future educational development.

  • Be supported by appropriate theories, valid data, and relevant references.

  • Follow the official ICEI 2026 manuscript template and author guidelines.

  • Be presented by at least one registered author during the conference.

  • Be free from plagiarism, duplicate submission, fabricated data, falsification, and other unethical publication practices.

All manuscripts will undergo similarity checking before entering the peer-review process. Papers with excessive similarity, poor academic quality, ethical concerns, or topics outside the conference scope may be rejected during the initial editorial screening.

Authors

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that every listed co-author has made a substantial academic contribution to the manuscript and has approved the final version prior to submission.

  • ensuring compliance with the official manuscript template;

  • verifying the accuracy of formatting, language, references, figures, and tables;

  • communicating with the editorial committee throughout the review process;

  • responding to reviewers’ comments and submitting revisions within the specified deadlines;

  • ensuring that at least one author registers and presents the paper during the conference;

  • confirming that the manuscript has not been submitted to or published by another conference or journal simultaneously.

Authors are expected to prepare manuscripts in their final publishable form prior to submission. Papers should be thoroughly proofread and checked for language accuracy, formatting consistency, citation completeness, and overall academic quality.

Publication Ethics

ICEI 2026 is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity throughout the submission, review, and publication process.

The conference does not tolerate:

  • plagiarism;

  • data fabrication or falsification;

  • duplicate or simultaneous submission;

  • inappropriate authorship practices;

  • citation manipulation;

  • undisclosed conflicts of interest;

  • image manipulation;

  • any other form of academic misconduct.

Editors will evaluate every manuscript fairly and objectively without discrimination based on nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, or personal characteristics.

Reviewers are expected to maintain confidentiality, declare potential conflicts of interest, provide objective and constructive evaluations, and support their recommendations with clear academic justifications.

Authors are expected to conduct research ethically, accurately report research findings, appropriately acknowledge all sources, and comply with internationally recognized standards of responsible scholarly publishing.

ICEI 2026 reserves the right to reject, withdraw, or retract any manuscript found to violate publication ethics before or after publication.
